How cancellation, auto-renewal, and the EU 14-day withdrawal right work for a Gesprek subscription.

Cancelling auto-renewal

You can turn off auto-renewal at any time from your account’s billing settings. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for; we don’t refund the unused part of a period just because you turned off renewal — that’s a separate right, covered below.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you’re an EU consumer, you can withdraw from a new paid subscription within 14 days of subscribing, for any reason, and get a full refund — this is the EU-wide minimum, and we don’t shorten it. Email support@gesprek.org to ask for a withdrawal; we aim to process the refund within 14 days of your request, using your original payment method.

If you’ve already started using a paid plan

If you actively asked us to begin paid-tier access before the 14 days were up — which checkout asks you to confirm separately — and the service has by then been fully delivered, EU law lets that end the withdrawal right early. Short of that, withdrawing inside the 14 days gets you a full refund regardless of how much you’ve used.

The free trial

The 30-day free trial isn’t a paid period, so there’s nothing to refund during it — just cancel before it ends and you won’t be charged at all.

Outside the EU, or a business customer

If EU consumer law doesn’t apply to you, we still consider refund requests case by case — email support@gesprek.org and tell us what happened.
