Our commitment to making Gesprek usable by as many people as possible, and where we currently stand.
Our target
We’re building Gesprek towards WCAG 2.1 level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act. That work is ongoing rather than finished — this statement will be replaced with a formal conformance assessment once one has been done.
What to expect today
The interface is built with semantic HTML, keyboard-operable controls, and visible focus states throughout. We haven’t yet run a full audit against every screen, so there will be gaps we don’t know about yet.
Tell us what isn’t working
If something in Gesprek is hard to use with a screen reader, keyboard alone, or any other assistive technology, email support@gesprek.org with what you were trying to do and what happened — that report goes straight into what we fix next.
