Why three sessions instead of one?
Because spacing is what makes recall stick, and a timetable is easier to keep than a queue you visit when you remember. Fifteen, thirty, fifteen — the shortest one is first, on purpose.
What if I miss a session?
Nothing happens. Your due sentences wait for you and the morning queue is longer next time. There is no penalty, no lost streak animation, no guilt screen.
Why can't I skip a topic?
Inside a level you can't — the next topic unlocks once 60% of the previous one's retention is reached. Across levels you are free: switch to any level you are entitled to and start it at topic one.
Is there speaking practice?
No. There is no microphone anywhere in the product. We would rather ship nothing than a speaking score that measures nothing.
Why is my typed answer wrong when it means the same thing?
Active recall expects the sentence itself. Case, accents and punctuation are ignored, but there is no partial credit and no alternative-phrasing table. It is strict on purpose.
Are the topic titles in Dutch?
Yes, as authored. Localising them needs a proper translation pass, and we would rather show you the real title than an invented one.
What happens if my payment fails?
You keep full access for a grace period with a single banner. After that you fall back to the free tier, with your three slots auto-filled by whatever you have practised most. Progress is never deleted.
